Dr. Carlos Ricart serves as Medical Director of the Ipsum Diagnostics Florida Laboratory and brings extensive expertise in hematopathology, transfusion medicine, and clinical laboratory operations.
Dr. Ricart completed fellowship training in Hematopathology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Transfusion Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He completed his residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Yale University.
Board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as Hematopathology, Dr. Ricart has dedicated his career to advancing diagnostic excellence through the integration of clinical pathology, laboratory medicine, and evidence-based patient care.
As Medical Director of the Florida Laboratory, Dr. Ricart provides medical oversight for laboratory operations, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and diagnostic services.
